Some make plans for the winter vacation, others reach agreements or disagreements for the celebration of the holidays, some live moments of profound tension trying to conclude their work plans for the following year, and for others, December causes the gift shopping stress and the unending social commitments which empty their pockets and exhaust their patience, leading them to forget the true purpose and reason of Christmas. There is also that part of humanity for whom Christmas is not a reason for joy and celebration, but of sadness and tears; and instead of filling themselves with happiness remembering the purpose of it, choose the path of depression, by sinking even deeper in their disillusions and loneliness, by remembering precisely on that date, all that in life which has made them suffer, making that day which should be the most joyful of the year, the saddest, forgetting that it is a day to celebrate hope, to celebrate the prodigy of God manifesting Himself as man for His love of humanity, the arrival of that Master, born in the most beautiful baby, that with His humility and Divine example, came to give light to the world. ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  - Holy Night... Night of Love That is how mankind calls the night in which the Messiah was born, but what has become of this night which must be the purest celebration of the year? Even though many consider this night as a Holy Night, a night to elevate their spirit and feel more brotherly towards others, many others, in their race towards materialism, have changed that night of peace for mundane celebrations, where the quality of the banquet, the attire and decoration, the originality and value of the gifts given or received, and the abundance of wine and "hullabaloo", has led them to forget the true reason for this celebration. Do you realize that many children do not know the real reason for celebrating Christmas? Sadly, many of them think that it is simply the day to receive gifts brought by their parents or a fantastic character called Santa Claus, but it is just that, a holiday for feast and gifts. It is here that the question arises that the Lord has made in His teachings and on which we should deeply meditate: Why should man, having so many occasions and holidays to celebrate during the year, does not leave this Holy night to be a true celebration for the spirit? "On this day, when men commemorate that dawn when the Baby Messiah initiated His journey on the Earth, I want all Mankind to feel My spiritual presence. I want the children to rejoice in Me; that the young people stop for a moment to remember the One who became Man for love to save you, and that the elderly who shed their tears meditating upon this teaching and remembering those happy days of their childhood, feel My peace within their hearts ". Could we not, for one night, even for some instant, put aside the material celebration to remember the true example of the Divine Master that being the King of kings, had the most humble crib, and even knowing beforehand which would be His destiny, dedicated His life to give love without asking anything in return? Could we not, even for a moment, forget about ourselves, to do for others what the Messiah has done for us 24 hours of every day that He was on earth? One moment of meditation in His Divine example, one instant of elevation of our spirits, and one prayer in remembrance of those who need company, a word of comfort or healing, would satisfy to saturate that evening of love, to fill the evening with happiness, elevation, spirituality and blessing. "I want to be with you, even if only for one hour, but in such a manner that it would be impossible to separate you from me; see how I come to fill you with tenderness, with hope and balsam, and I want you to recall that one night such as this one, I came to the world to teach you with My life and examples, the path that conducts you to the " Kingdom of Heavens". "Pray for everyone, for the poor, for the sad, for the captive, for the sick, for the orphans; pray, so that your thoughts go to anoint he who suffers, and dry the tears of he who cries". One instant of remembrance will suffice so that Holy night will be a true evening of peace and love. God is not against our joy or celebration, He is against materialism, of selfishness which leads us to forget, at least for one night, of those who may not have, such as us, the joy of a home, of friends, of a family; the privilege of delicious foods and nice gifts, or the fortune of good health, and the company of someone in the moments of loneliness. "Humanity: During these days when you commemorate the birthday of Jesus, you allow peace to enter your heart, and it is then when you appear like a united and happy family. I know that not all hearts feel a sincere happiness when they remember My coming to this world in that period. Very few are those who devote themselves to meditation and spiritual withdrawal, letting that happiness be internal and that the feast of remembrance be in the spirit". The day that we accomplish to make that evening one of remembrance and spiritual celebration, where the best foods be our love and the best gifts our prayers, we can begin to put into practice in our daily lives that teaching which our Father delivered to us in the Third Era: "Holy, you call this night, you who remember when the Rabbi came to the world". "Under the Divine influence of those memories, all beings come closer, those absent are brought to mind, the offenses are forgiven, families are united, friends visit one another, hearts are filled with hope. It seems that everyone awaits something unknown which they are unable to define, on this Night, when men manifest a little tenderness in their hardened hearts, and others a little spirituality over their materialism". "But I ask you: "Do you believe that only this Night deserves to be called holy by men? With a little love, could you not make it possible that every night and day of your existence be holy, so that you may see that all of life, without exception of a single instant, is holy?" ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  -Mary and the Nativity Mary was the human mother of Jesus, and She is the spiritual Mother of humanity and the Divine tenderness always present in God. To give a son to the world, having the blessing of carrying a new being in the womb, see him born, love him before seeing him, are some of the privileges that the mothers have in the world. Privileges that give those spirits incarnated in woman the opportunity, for a brief moment, to feel part of the creation, of God Himself; that instant of giving birth, although being on earth, woman can feel close to heaven. And I ask myself, if that is what human mothers feel, those that even being small and limited upon carrying a child become capable of the greatest works of love, what could have Mary felt knowing that She was carrying in her womb the Savior of the world, the promised Messiah? What could the Mother have felt upon seeing Him being born and contemplating Him to be surrounded by so much human poverty, and at the same time of so much spiritual wealth? Taking advantage of the space that we have taken to remember the birth of the Divine Master, I would like to share with you some of the paragraphs of the teachings which Mary, our Universal Mother, inspired the spokesmen that in this Third Era received through human understanding, manifestation that was announced by the prophets and that they tell us in some of their paragraphs of those moments that Mary, woman, converted into the mother of Jesus. "My children: Verily I say to you that there does not exist in your language any words which can express what my eyes contemplated in that instant when the Word, made man, was born to the light of the world and rested on my bosom. A radiant light illuminated that Being who, upon opening his eyes, enveloped me in a smile of infinite love". "What joy so great invaded my heart as a mother! But there was so much loneliness and poverty in our surroundings that I felt distressed. I would have liked to cover that little body in gala clothes, knowing that He was King, but I could only wrap him with my kisses of love, give him the best bedding and I could only offer Him a manger for a cradle". "An illustrious silence enveloped that holy night, without the lords of the Earth nor the kings of the world, asleep in lethargy and darkness, having any presentiment that the Son of God had arrived among men". So much tenderness is found in the words of our Mother, before the remembrance of the birth of Jesus, the same that She reveals in some moments of His life when, even being a child, filled Her heart with joy. "Mary, your Mother, is going to talk to you about how Jesus was on Earth". "He was humble, all love, comprehension and charity; His eyes were gentle, His hands soft. He was like an iris, His voice was caressing and His word illuminated like a star. He was like a balsam, like a cooing of a dove. He always spoke of the Kingdom of His Father, of good and beautiful things, and the men and the children listened to Him transported into a superior world". "His protection was of a loving shepherd and His teaching was the best of all teachers. The children loved Him; they rejoiced when Jesus placed His hand upon their heads and their face reflected the happiness when He looked at them. How much love toward men! How much love for the children! When they came to me, they said to me: we came looking for our friend Jesus. How many beautiful things did my eyes contemplate! How much joy did my spirit experience for having been the Mother of Jesus!" "Jesus shined more than the rays of the sun, because from Him reflected a light that embellished all His Being. His eyes were not the same as of other men or like other teachers, but rather they penetrated into the hearts giving them life. It seemed that the light of day added its beauty to caress everything He saw. His eyes, always serene, had a secret, profound message". "A very great beatitude enveloped Him when He elevated his spirit to enter in communion with the Father. Afterwards, when He went forth searching for the sad and sick ones, phrases filled with love and of light poured out from His lips. His language, simple and profound at the same time, reached all hearts". From the book "A Message from Mary" Aren't the words of Mary sufficiently elevated and clear to make us meditate in that our celebration for the birth of the Divine Master should be saturated with love, hope, and spiritual remembrance more than a material feast? But this should not be misunderstood as if our Father is against commemoration, the only thing He asks is that we give each thing the value and the place that it corresponds to it. "Nobody must think that I come to erase from your heart the purest feast that you celebrate in the year, when you commemorate the Nativity of Jesus. I only come to teach you to give to the world what pertains to the world, and to the spirit what pertains to the spirit, because if you have so many feasts to celebrate human events, why don't you leave this feast to the spirit, so that he, converted into a child, draws near to offer Me his present of love, so that he acquires the simplicity of the shepherds to adore Me, and the humility of the wise, to bow their heads and present their science before the owner of the true wisdom?" ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  - The humility of the wise "And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh". Matthew 2:11 What is the significance of the presence of the wise men when the Messiah came to this world, and what the symbol of the gifts that they offered Him? Like our Father has explained to us many times in His teachings, each one of the events that occurred in the life of the Divine Master, each of the parables that He delivered, and each of the examples that He left in His path, form part of a language, of a message and a teaching of profound love and spirituality. Gold, incense and myrrh, are symbols of power, science and human wealth; likewise, the analysis of this passage reveals to us that those that are truly wise are the ones who humbly recognize that knowledge, power and material abundance, are nothing before the true values of the spirit. It is the prophetic promise that the time will arrive in which material power will bow its head before the true power which comes only from God. ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  Last Word: Dearly Beloved: Along these past years, we have suggested that you print one of the Christmas teachings that our Lord delivered through human understanding from the year 1866 to 1950.
