It is also a splendid occasion to let our love flow and sprout from within our spirit so it could reach the needy, the sad, the forgotten...our Lord in His revelations for this era, makes us meditate about all these things, as you will see in "A Season to be Jolly". Brotherly love is not an impossible dream if we take matters in our own hands. And also in this issue of our little newsletter, there are news of the surprising involvement of human science in the delicate debate about the feasibility of reincarnation, far beyond all theological discussions and crossfire between advocates and deniers. And finally, as 1999 approaches us, there are some reflections upon our evolution as humankind and as spirits as well. Hope you find this issue interesting enough. And remember, there is always something you can share with the rest. ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - A Season to be Jolly Christiandom celebrates in this season the birth of the Messiah, and apart from the discussions regarding the accuracy of the date in which Jesus was actually born -in Luke 2:8 the shepherds are outside, so chances are that it was Summer, not Winter-, this certainly is a season in which we feel our spirits and souls filled with feelings of joy, love and forgiveness... But, what about all the lonely people? What about the forgotten by a world too busy in its craving for material things and unwilling to end with poverty, injustice and human missery? So, this is just not only a season to be jolly, but should also be a start to make it a season to be holy... Please, in Christmas Eve or just before the feast which many accustom to have in Christmas Day, share the wonderful and divine teaching of the Lord -one of many delivered by Him in this era- that you can find at http://144000.net/christms.htm and one thing I can promise you: This Christmas will be an unforgettable one, not just for you and the beloved that will surround you at that moment, but also for many around the world. ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - Reincarnation and Human Science True science -not to be confounded with the scientific institute- comes from the Lord. And the struggle between the spiritual and science is artificial, because many things that have been raised either in pulpits or in scientific lecture platforms have been proved wrong as time passes by. But when the scientific quest for the truth touches the boundaries of what was thought to be just ignorant chit-chat, well, that's a whole different ball game. And so finally it should come as no surprise that scientists are devoting time, money and efforts to a research that extends the range of knowledge of human science into a field long time neglected by it: reincarnation. Dr. Ian Stevenson's extensive research in this subject has provoked a unexpected reaction in the scientific world. Please read about this at http://144000.net/reinscie.htm And to broaden the focus on the "conflict" between spirituality and true science, please read also http://144000.net/teach161.htm http://144000.net/teach314.htm ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - 1999. Something to think about. We are in the verge of the beginning of 1999, but many are wrongfully believing in that 1999 is the end of the millenium. Well, it is not. There was not year 0 so the year 2000 will be, in reality, the end of the second thousand of years. The new millenium shall begin in the year 2001, not a minute sooner. But what really matters is the meaning of it. If you come to think about it, this past century seems to have put a thrust, a boost in the clockwork of time. Events took place at the speed of light -OK, OK, this is just a metaphor-. But really, folks, if you take a look back to reflect upon all things that have happened these past few years, starting from men reaching the moon, the almost unthinkable means of communications that we have nowadays -such as the way we use to deliver what you are reading now-, cloning of animals and brainwaves' computer software -yes, it is true, they have experimental computers running by impulse of human brainwaves-, and if you put it together with the words in Daniel 12:4 -"But thou, O Daniel shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased"-, you come to realize that, well..., the end of this millenium and the beginning of the next are somewhat different. In our next newsletter we will dig a little bit in this subject. ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - A Final Word: Let us join our spirits in brotherhood -and sisterhood- not only in these days of spiritual remembrance, but all year long. And remember the words of our Lord from Teaching 202: "But I ask you: "Do you believe that only this Night deserves to be called holy by men? With a little love, could you not make it possible that every night and day of your existence be holy, so that you may see that all of life, without exception of a single instant, is holy?"
