Numbers, numbers, numbers

The arrival of the year 2000, feared by many, has brought uneasiness and
worry to many people all around the world. And one of the reasons for this
is the content of certain verses of The Book of Revelation, mainly in 13:17
and 18.

	"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
	or the name of the beast, or the number of his name...Here is
	wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of
	the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is
	Six Hundred threescore and six" (KVR)

These are the words used for John to describe the identity of the
"Anti-Christ".

Well, regarding this, there are all of sort of intepretations. I transcribe
some of them because they seem to be the more publicized:

A) It Nero's name, the Roman emperor according to Asirian numerology. This
   idea has prevailed for a very long time among believers of numerology. I
   wonder what all this has to do with John, the prophet in Patmos that was,
   according to some, a Jew and according to others, Greek. But, hey, that愀
   what they say.

B) It is the very secret and unpronounceable name of Adam, according to the
    secret rabinic Kabalah. Mmmm, maybe, but here we could raise a simple
   question: In which language? Cananite? Hebrew? (although then there were
   no Hebrews yet)and furthermore, there were no differnt human races at
   that time, if we  follow to the letter The Book of Genesis. Could Adam be
   named with an English name as it often happens in Hollywood's big bucks
   productions? 

C) And here is something really amazing. It could be -please don't laugh yet-      
the number resulting from the barcode of the new SmartCards and ID Cards          
that are increasingly promoted by the financial system throughout the world.         
It could sound absurd at first but when you stop to think that if bankers
and merchants get their way on this matter, no one would be able to buy
or sell without this new breed of money: digital plastic. Interesting, uh?

C) It is Bill Gates' name in ASCII code used by computers. Bill Gaines III
   is the wealthiest man in the world nowadays, and many actually believe
   that he is the little old devil himself. You don't believe me? Well, you

OK, you can laugh now...I suggest you not to take this very seriously, because
if you take the chance to use the same system on your own name, who knows...
maybe your name renders 666 and YOU are the AntiChrist without knowing it!

But, then again, which is the true intepretation of number 666?

In His communications through the human understanding of many spokemen that
endured many years, the Lord revealed to us that the number 7 is the symbol
of human perfection; following this, the physical Creation will be finished
at the Seventh Day, that in turn means the Seventh and Last of the Seals in
Apocalypse, John's Revelation.

So then, what's the meaning of number 6?

6 is the symbol of the unfinished, the imperfect and it is, as John
explains clearly, a man's number. And John gives us another clue. Please
read carefully Revelation 13:4 through 18 and there you will see that 666 is
the name or mark of those that have rejected God and His Word.

This is the Third Era, the last era of humankind and we shouldn't expect
another one. Therefore, all men that have rejected in those three eras the
divine teachings, they have in their forehead, a symbol of their egotistical
and materialist ideas, the mark of the beast: 6 for the First Era when they
denied Moses as a prophet and envoy sent by the Almighty; 6 for the Second
Era when they crucified and rejected Jesus, the sweet Master from Galilee,
the envoy of the Second Era. And in the Third Era, 6 because they refuse to
acknowledge the presence and teachings of the Holy Spirit in His Advent in
this era.

And which is that beast of John's vision? Starting from Teaching 160:51 our
Lord tells us:

	"I shall place the light and the strength of My love in those who
	faithfully follow Me, and then the latter will say: Let us go and
	seek the dragon who stalks us, the beast that induces us to sin
	and to offend the Father. They will seek it in the seas, in the
	wilderness, in the mountains, and in the forests; in the invisible,
	and they will not find it, because it dwells within the heart of
	men, which is the one who has engendered it, and there it has
	grown until it has come to dominate the Earth."

	"It is there where the beast of evil has found its den of iniquity;
	it surges from the profoundness of the heart of men; it manifests
	itself to cause that some devour the others; to awaken the thirst
	for blood and of hate among the brethren, causing the nations to
	devour nations."

	"It is a beast insatiable of lives, of blood, of peace, of harmony,
	of fraternity, and of spirituality; it is the one who has inspired
	seven weapons in men which oppose the seven virtues; seven sins,
	which are the ones that have caused men to fall into the deepest
	abyss of degeneration."

	"But My presence has never been lacking for any spirit. I have never
	permitted that the last atom of the conscience be lost by any
	creature, so that that atom may struggle for his salvation."

	"In this period of unleashed passions, of perversity, of lust, of
	unrestrained freedom of all sins, the beast, truly I say to you,
	has taken over and has established a throne in the hearts of men."

	"52. When the reflections of My sword of light touch the heart of
	each man, that force, which comes from evil, will weaken until it
	dies; then you will say: "My Lord, with the Divine power of your
	charity I have defeated the dragon; the one which I believed
	lurked in the invisible, without ever thinking that I carried it
	within the heart.""

	"53. When wisdom shines within all men, who will dare turn
	righteousness into evil?  Who will give up the eternal for what
	is temporary? Truly I say to you: No one, because all of you shall
	be strong in Divine wisdom."

The final objective of the loving divine plan contemplates that we all
shall carry the mark of 777 at the end of the Seals, because by then there
will be no place in earth for evil, it will be the triumph of the spirit
over materialism, a triumph in which there will not be a conqueror or any
conquered amongst us. (See Teaching 328:36 through 38 in the Book of The True
Life/The Third Testament).
