     - First Word

  Dearly beloved:

  A new year has started (at least for the people that observes
  the Gregrorian calendar) and because of this, in many
  cultures and nations, this simple event renews the hope and
  the expectancy that the new year ahead of us, will bring
  along a better life and a better chance for improving things.

  And why not? Why shouldn't we all try a little bit harder,
  push a little bit farther in our attempts to be a nicer
  person and a true follower of the divine teachings and the
  Law?

  If we all take the fight against evil and wrongdoing as a
  very personal task (starting of course with the evil and
  wrongdoings in ourselves), perhaps, at the end of this new
  year, we shall have a more balanced final outcome than the
  prior year.

  Remember, the past is not ours to change and the future still
  lies beyond our reach. It is our present, our everyday life 
  that belongs totally to us so that we can make the best out of
  it.

  - The Gifts Within Part XIV

          · Spiritual Vision Part 1

  The gift of spiritual vision is one of the most sensitive
  gifts. Without spirituality, one who has spiritual vision
  will never be able to perceive things in the spiritual realm,
  since his or her gift will be confined to the borders of
  materialism.

  Spirituality means elevated sentiments, purity in life,
  faith, loving your brethren, charity, humility before God and
  a deep respect for the gifts received from Him. Once we
  develop one of these virtues we will be able to perceive
  spiritually the valley of love and perfection.
  Thus, when we achieve spirituality, we will be able to dwell
  in the spiritual valley even if it is only during our moments
  of prayer and at the same time, we will receive the light
  that reveals deeds that pertain to the future, for once the
  spirit begins to elevate itself, the future ceases to be a
  mystery.

  Those with spiritual vision have a delicate and serious
  responsibility for there will be times when people with
  doubtful hearts will seek proof in their words in order to
  believe.

  Those who are able to perceive spiritually need to make good
  use of their intuition. Thus, after they have a spiritual
  vision, they will know if their vision was the fruit of good
  preparation. Furthermore, they will know if they need to
  remain silent or to tell of their vision to their brethren.

  Anyone that is aware of experiencing this gift has to
  cultivate it with love, devotion and the spirituality that it
  requires.

  Spiritual visions are divine messages. God speaks to us also
  through our dreams. Any knowledge that comes from God to us
  is a revelation. The messages that we received while sleeping
  should be considered as prophesies that will illuminate the
  path of our spirit.

  We should analyze our dreams or visions and be on the alert
  for symbolic and prophetic dreams as well as for spiritual
  visions. We should not let our lack of faith or lack of
  preparation hinder the opportunity to receive the divine
  messages no matter the manner or form that God, our Father,
  utilizes to convey them.

  divine messages. This is why we should analyze them in order

  - Abortion: A Reincarnation Issue

  We have posted in the 144000.net website a new topic, which
  involves the delicate issue of abortion or termination of
  human life at its early stages.

  I guess that we all are aware of how many words have been said
  regarding this important subject, as well as how flaming the
  debate among opposed and almost irreductible points of view
  gets to be.

  But now, as followers of the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, we
  must take our stand with its foundation taken not from human
  interpretations -some of them valid, some of them not quite
  so- but based on the solid rock of the divine teachings of
  all Eras.

  Our approach is to cover this topic from an angle that has
  been totally overlooked by most of the passionate defenders
  of either side of the debate, the ones that advocate abortion
  as a woman's right and those that condemn it as plain murder.

  -The Impact of Culture Upon Us

  As you probably know, the followers of the teachings of The
  Third Testament are spread all over the world, in all
  nations, races and human groups, since Israel is not a race
  or a nation for it is something more sublime.


          "You should no longer believe that the
          people of God are the Jewish people
          only. I made that race be dispersed
          throughout the world, for truly, Israel
          is not a race; it is a spiritual people
          to whom everyone is called to belong."

          "Because Israel is a spiritual name that
          was unduly taken to denominate a single
          race."

          "When I speak of My people of Israel, of
          the people of the Lord, I refer to those
          who made My Law known; to those who
          announced Me; to those who were faithful
          to Me; to those who proclaimed the
          existence of the living God; to those
          who perpetuated the seed of love, and to
          those who were able to recognize in the
          Son, the presence and the word of the
          Father."

          "Those are the ones who form the people
          of God, that is Israel; the strong one,
          the faithful, the prudent one."

  Having all these things in mind, we will then fully
  understand why did the Lord make spirits incarnate in all
  human races and nations, spirits which before, in the past,
  were born as members of the twelve tribes of Israel... even
  some of them, are now part of the Palestinian people. Yes,
  they are.

  We have received testimonies of spirits of Israel dwelling
  among the most different cultures and so we have brethen 
  born as Slovenians, Americans, Palestinians, Chinese,
  Peruvians, etc. You name it, it doesn't matter in how many
  portions the leaders of the world insist in dividing the
  nations, in all of them you will find the presence of some
  of the 144000 chosen.

  Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, Jewish, Greek Ortodox, Catholic or
  Protestant Christian or whatever upbringing the children of
  Israel had to deal with in this reincarnation, at the end the
  pact that every spirit has with his or her Creator ends
  prevailing, surpassing cultural backgrounds.

  We all were raised to prefer one nation -the one in which we
  live in now- above the others, but in view of what we really
  are and that in the past we were born in different countries
  -many of them vanished in history-, how can we then pledge
  "eternal" commitment to any given nation, country or group of
  people?

  How can we embrace one culture and disregard the other ones?
  Are we to dispise the East simple because we now were born in
  the West? Are we to hate Jews because we now were born as
  Muslims or Christians?

  What if the children that now live in fear in Jerusalem were
  our descendants, the grandchildren of our grandchildren's
  grandchildren and so forth?

  What if in a past life we lived in exile in Babylon -modern
  Irak- or we were among the ones to got exiled to Spain or
  Eastern Europe at the fall of Jerusalem's Temple?

  I think by now you already got the picture.

  Culture, nationality, language, religion, surname,
  patriotism... all those things are totally irrelevant when
  confronted with our spiritual past. We have had so many of
  those!

  We as parents, endow our children with the best we have, but
  it is not always the best there is. In the eternal path of
  evolution, one generation has the spiritual duty to go a step
  further than the precedent one. So, having respect, gratitude
  and love for our elders and parents and for the cultural
  baggage that they provided us with, we have the moral
  responsibility to seek for the truth and walk toward
  perfection, following the trace of our Lord.

  And as we inexorably approach the end of the Sixth Seal with
  all of the turmoils and catastrophes that will mark it, we
  must unite again, above cultural upbringing and nationality
  as one flock, one people, one voice: That of Israel, the
  people of God.

  While we watch arrogance and spiritual ignorance conquering
  the heights of human power, we must not dismay in the most
  important task that our Lord entrusted us: Israel is the one
  to bring peace to the world. Please, be peaceful and watchful
  so the ghosts of religious fanatism and patriotic zealotry do
  not prevail.
