And believe me, this is something to think about since many people in the world takes for granted that life will continue at the same pace as today... Remember the 2000 year brouhaha? Remember how the so-called "prophets" of disaster spoke of the imminent end of the world? How self-appointed nostradamuses even gave precise and exact dates for the destruction of civilization (if there was any!) scaring the dickens out of the gullible folks?... And oh, yeah! There was also the 2KY scare... Remember? The computer bug that was supposed to bring down the Jumbo jets and paralyze the modern world? Boy, were all these guys totally lost! But the damage is done... now, just the opposite is going on. Nobody thinks that today this world can come to an end -our human world, my friends, not the planet- and we are seeing irresponsible behaviours all around us, and nobody with power seems to care. This issue's topic, "The Drums of War", covers this... So, please, read on and maybe you will find appropiate to rethink the things over. ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - The Drums of War It seems that the clash of cultures is inevitable. West against East, North against South... In our egotistic way of seeing all things under a materialistic point ot view, many "experts" explain that all wars derive from an economic origin. They just disregard any ideological explanation for the conflicts. In other words, instead of "homo sapiens", our race has become "homo economicus", at least according to these fellows. Is that so? For starters, try to apply this logic to some events in the past. Try the Crusades, for example. And not only from the Western side. Analyze it from a different perspective, the Eastern one. Because, oh yeah! In every war there are always two sides at the very least. At this moment, two ideological forces are about to collide, possibly throwing Humankind as a whole into a bonfire of hatred, death and massive destruction. Holy War! is the claim you hear at both sides, all of their leaders swinging moral and almost "sacred" motives and justifications for their behaviour. It won't matter a bit if one of the sides is right or prevails by the power of brute force, at the end only the innocent will suffer. The drums of war are beating their deadly rythm and we are approaching the verge of the abyss. And no, no human has the knowledge as of the day and hour this is going to happen. But, it will happen. What are we, followers of the divine Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, going to do? We must polish and use our weapons, not the weapons of the matter but our spiritual ones: The spiritual prayer which is more powerful when we all elevated it in harmony. True faith, not the one that has ignorance and fanatism as its seed, but the one that emerges from truth and wisdom. Peace, for if we are peaceful in our everyday life, we will saturate the ambient with the spiritual emanations of love and understanding which are needed so badly in the world. And finally, our most valuable weapon: Charity. For we have the promise, as given by Elijah, the prophet of the Lord and our spiritual guide: "Impart charity and more charity and you shall behold the Father in all His splendor". ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - The True Temple Some 10,000 years ago, BCE (Before Common Era), there appeared small human communities spread throughout the world that organized themselves in villages and towns. Separating from more primitive communities that still observed a more simplistic way of life, the organized ones had two things in common among themselves: Agriculture and trade. Those villages and towns were built without walls or any kind of protection against intruders. They followed the natural law as an imperative in their lives, since at that moment didn't exist the means to write down a more structured body of laws and regulations. And its relationship with the Divine was darkened by ignorance and fear and so they saw attributes of the Divinity in the elements of Nature. Earth, wind, fire and water were deities for them (us?). Also, they had the notion of a supreme power were life sprouted as a fountain, but they weren't able to separate this notion from the striking manifestations of Nature's power, so both forces came to mean the same thing. Probably the first attempts to appease those manifestations were in the form of offerings of fruits and products of the earth. Depending of the region, these offerings could be rendered either in the heights of hills or in the middle of the open spaces where the tribe people or villagers gathered. One way or the other, soon the idea of building a more proper place to worship came up and the first edifices were made: Therefore the concept of a material temple begun, out of fear and ignorance. By assigning a place for the deities to manifest, they ingenuously believed that the gods would be pleased and less irate. Meanwhile, time has passed, and human beings had evolved. But, it seems that for many, the purpose and meaning of a temple remains the same as in the Stone Age. Why? Because they still seem to believe that God only dwells in stone temples, made by human hands when in fact, since many years ago, the prophets of the Lord told us different: "Thus saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?" "For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith the LORD: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." Isaiah 66:1,2 This was written some 2700 years ago. Also, there is no mention at all that Elijah, the prophet, worshipped God in any stone temple, on the contrary, he never set foot in a temple or church. Furthermore, the time has come when, as Jesus announced to the Samaritan woman: "...Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. "God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth." John 4:21-24 Where is then the true temple of God? Paul says: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16 It doesn't cease to amaze me that people which, without any hesitation, assert that God is everywhere, at the same time stick to the notion of the material temple as "God's House". What does that mean? If when they go to a temple to worship Him God is "there", then He isn't anywhere else at that particular time and place? Let me finish this overview with the following verses of the Third Testament: "The temples of stone made by the hands of men cannot be My temple, but rather the heart of man, where there exists the altar of his love, the light of his faith, and the offering of his merits." "You can communicate with your Father wherever you are, for the place is of no consequence, it can be at the top of the mountain or if you find yourself in the depth of a valley, in the commotion of a city, in the peace of your home or in the midst of a struggle; if you seek Me in the interior of your sanctuary in the midst of the deep silence of your elevation, the doors of the universal and invisible temple will be opened instantly so that you feel yourself truly in the house of the Father, which exists in each spirit." "I am rebuilding the temple which I referred to when I said to My disciples who contemplated in wonder the temple of Solomon: "Truly I say to you, that of it, there shall not be one stone left upon another, but I will reconstruct it in three days". "I meant to say that any exterior worship, regardless of how sumptuous it may seem to mankind, will disappear from the heart of men, in order to elevate, in its place, the true spiritual temple of My Divinity. This is the Third Era; that is to say, the Third Day in which I will finish rebuilding My temple." "The level of spirituality or materialism of mankind, can be measured by the manner of their worship. "The materialist searches for Me in the things of the Earth, and if he does not see Me according to his wishes, he represents Me in some form in order to believe that he beholds Me." "He who conceives Me in Spirit, feels Me within, outside of him and in everything that surrounds him, because he has been converted into My very temple." ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  - More About Myths 1) Jesus threw the coin to those that asked Him whether the Jews must pay tribute to Caesar. No, there is not account of this in the New Testament. In fact Jesus never touched a coin or money in any of its forms. 2) Christ is supposed to return as a man. There is not a single word in the Bible to support this myth. On the contrary, Jesus Himself disregards this in Matthew 24:26,27: "Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." ____________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカ  -Final Word: Dearly beloved, please continue to study and analyze all of the teachings of our Lord given in the Three Eras; that way, we will understand the teachings of the past with the revelations of the present.
