It is because of this that in this issue of our humble newsletter, we will review the most important aspects, in our opinion, of the spiritual meditation, hoping that in some way, it can help us understand all it better. But of course, what we expose here is seen from the Trinitarian Marian Spiritualist Doctrine perspective, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit in this Third Time, where meditation should not be understood as a journey towards the outside but just the opposite, a journey to the inside in the quest for essential freedom... in other words: The freedom of our spirit. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - The Spiritual Meditation The word meditate derives from the latin word "meditatus", which means to put remedy, find the answer to a dilemma. Meditation is the act of meditating, it is the act of resolving that which is important. "I bless those who are renouncing what is external to enter into meditation, into love and into an inner peace, because they are realizing that peace is not acquired from the world, but rather that you can find it within yourselves." "I say to you that anyone who, for an instant, is able to experience the happiness of feeling free to meditate, to scrutinize and to practice, will never again return voluntarily to his captivity, because his eyes have already beheld the light and his spirit was exalted before the Divine revelations." "I say to you, that you cannot believe in all that, because you have not wanted to analyze the meaning of My Word or of My works. If you would only dedicate a little of your time to spiritual meditation, you would attain great inspirations and you would obtain wisdom.." "If you learn to meditate for a few moments every day and your meditation was about the spiritual life, you would discover an infinity of explanations and you would receive revelations that you would not obtain through any other way." The Third Testament The meditation that our Father speaks to us about in His teachings, which is the spiritual one, is quite different from that practiced by men following very ancient philosophies and theories. It is not that this kind of meditation isn't useful to attain certain purposes, like quieting the matter or bringing some degree of sensibility to the higher or lower senses of the matter; in fact this kind of meditation actually can be very rewarding and beneficial... but true spiritual meditation serves a higher purpose than the simple search of personal calmness or the mere ilumination of the ego. It consists, by the contrary, of the abandonment of that ego, the "me myslef" to go, instead, in search of the everything, of the "us". It is by way of spiritual meditation that we reach wisdom. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - The Conscience, the Spirit's Guide "When the pain of your ordeals overwhelm you and your afflictions of life annihilate your senses, if you experience an intense desire to obtain a little peace, retire to your chamber or seek the silence, the solitude of the countryside; there elevate your spirit guided by the conscience, and enter into meditation. The silence is the kingdom of the spirit, a kingdom that is invisible to human eyes." The Third Testament The conscience is the guide of the spirit, and by this intimate contact with our conscience, is how we enter into meditation. The conscience is that divine spark that each and every spirit carries within, and we must not confuse it with the state of consciousness, which is to be aware of the reality that surrounds us. The conscience is much more than just being able to be aware of the reality of material stuff, whether they are objects or ideas; the conscience it is the voice of God that speaks to us in the innermost profound part of our spirit, it is the light of the Divine Spirit that speaks to man about of good and evil regardless of culture or epoch, and it is the one that makes him know the reality of the spirit just as it does with human reality. "The conscience is the Divine spark, it is a superior light and is a strength to aid man not to sin". The Third Testament The conscience is unique, it is perfect and immutable, it does not adjust to the beliefs or ideas of a determined individual, that conscience speaks the same to all of us. And it is within the inner silence reached through meditation, that we get to achieve to hear with more clarity the voice of the conscience. "The moments of your meditation are the propitious time for you to understand and feel My love, the moment in which, almost without realizing it, your heart opens like a flower and from your eyes sweetly pours the fountain of tears." "Yes, disciples, weeping at the moment of meditation is proof of sincere emotion, and each teardrop is more eloquent than a thousand of the most beautiful and expressive words of your language." The Third Testament ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - Material Senses and Spiritual Gifts How to tell apart the senses of the matter from the spiritual gifts? Certainly, besides the basic material senses there exist senses that, by although being elevated do not cease to be of material origin. "...you will get too, to develop the higher senses of your matter". The Third Testament Those high senses of the matter (that some refer to them to as if they were spiritual gifts), such as telepathy, levitation, presentiment, detachment of the soul (or astral voyage or astral travel), etc. are elevated, but they are still material. "This matter that you posees, is destined to reach spirituality; when this comes to be, the life conditions of mankid shall change, from it spiritual faculty shall rise, unknown today by the habitants of the world." The Third Testament E230:49 Gifts such as intuition, inspiration, prophecy, etc., are purely spiritual. How to establish a difference between them, how to recognize them and not confuse them? Easy. The material senses are tied to time and space; if those senses are the basic ones they are tied to both, or if they are the more subtle or elevated, they are tied to either one of those physical realities; in other words, they are tied whether to time or to space. Let us compare, for example, the sense of telepathy against the gift of inspiration. The sense of telepathy, still being high and subtle, is tied to time, even though it is freed from space or distance. The spiritual gift of inspiration, by the contrary, is free from both time and space; the ideas that flow throughout this wonderful faculty, are not limited by an specific era or place, they are totally free of this. In the likeness of this, is when the difference between materialized meditation and spiritual meditation occurs. Materialized meditation can be very elevated, and thus we will see people that develop this skill in a great way, but still, being so high, it continues to be attached to time, or distance, or both. So we can see that our brothers that practice this form of meditation, although reaching ectasy or states of great serenity and personal calmness, but not succeeding in overriding time, and because of this, they do not reach prophecy, they cannot see into the future. The meditation which our Father speaks to us about is, reversely, profoundly spiritual, and what happens to the matter is given by addition. It is while at this spiritual meditation, when the spirit can free itself of time and space. It still has to be pointed out that, of course, starting from a materialized meditation you can pass to the spiritual meditation and we can realize that when frontiers are erased and the notions of time and space are defeated. In the astral voyage, for example, you can defeat space but not time; when you can travel to the past as easily as you can travel towards the future, it is then when we find ourselves with something different from what many people call "astral voyage", it is then when meditation becomes something much more elevated: Spiritual freedom" ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - Reflexion, Introspection and Analysis True meditation is a state in which the spirit becomes reflexive and introspective, though analytic. Reflection, introspection, analysis, three very important things needed to enter into that state of profound and true meditation. And, wich is the purpose of this, brothers? It is not to seek our egotist self, but the contrary, when we take meditation to the just dimension it must have, we merge with the whole universe both materially and spiritually because it is then when we go in search of our own and true nature, and we go in pursuit of perfection. "Educate your spirit in such a way that he may be converted into a good observer; educate your mind in your meditation; pray with a prayer that comes from the spirit, sensitizing the mind and the heart so that you may receive My Divine messages and learn the spiritual language of life that surrounds you, showing you the path of perfection." The Third Testament It is by means of meditation, which actually is part of the prayer, that we attain the sensibility of our spirit in a more complete manner and we cease being the isolated particle, that island in which we have become by letting predominate over us the material things as well as the selfishness that is so common in our world . ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - How to Achieve Deep Spiritual Meditation "When your spirit sheds himself of the human form and in the sanctuary of the spiritual life he withdraws within himself, examines his past and examines his harvest, many of his deeds that here in the world had seemed perfect to him, worthy of being presented to the Lord and worthy of a reward, will result small in those moments of meditation." The Third Testament To reach a deep, profound spiritual meditation, having in mind that we are human, it is necessary to first quiet down the matter in a very simple way. We do not even need to be in a group to be able to meditate. Though certainly, as it happens with prayer, when we are gathered with our brothers, meditation has a far bigger reach. Through this meditation, we must not seek for the the how's, but for the why's. Entering in a profound state of reflection, we must revise everything that our life contains, whether the present or pasts ones, the latter only when our Father allows us to and not for curiosity. And we extract from it the lessons that are useful to us in order to obtain a bigger elevation for our spirit, without the human mind (this understood as the cerebral functions) or our physical body being an obstacle. By the contrary, harmonizing the conscience with the spirit and the spirit with the mind and the matter, is when we obtain a true elevation. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - The Spiritual Meditation, Within The Reach of All "Observe your brothers of a humble condition who, in spite of their scarce knowledge, astonish with their profound observations, as well as the clear form with which they explain that which for many others is somewhat inexplicable. Do they go to books or to schools? No, but they have discovered through intuition, or from necessity, the gift of meditation which is part of the spiritual prayer." "In their solitude, isolated from influences and prejudices, they have discovered the way to penetrate into communion with the eternal, with the spiritual, with the truth, and some more, others less, all those who have meditated in the true essence of life, have received spiritual light in their mind." The Third Testament It is not a privilege of a few to master the gift of meditation. Meditation is something natural, something that comes intuitively. It is not necessary to complicate something that is really rather simple. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ -Final Word In our next issue, we will deliver Part II of this interesting topic.
