Dearly beloved:

In this issue, we will cover two of the most controversial topics of these 
days: the debate among scientists and theologians regarding the true face
of Jesus -at least, is it what most of them claim,- and the cloning of human 
beings.

We will try to see these important topics under the light of the Doctrine of
The Third Era, but the main purpose of it, is for you to give them a deep, 
deep thought so you can decide for yourself which is the standpoint that is 
closer to the truth. Use your intuition.

And as these past months, we will continue with the analysis of the spiritual
gifts, with this issue's topic, the communication from spirit to  Spirit.

-The Gifts Within Part VI

...The Gift of Communication from spirit to Spirit

Following with the idea which concluded our last issue's review of the
spiritual communication with our Father, we'll start this time by focusing
on something that has raised flamed debates amongst scholars for  centuries.

It deals with which language does God use to communicate with  us.

Many advanced spirits will immediately point that this is somewhat of a very
bizantine discussion (remember when theologians discussed for years  over
how many angels will fit into a needle愀 point?)

And as we look around, we can see many people moving their heads thinking:
"But of course it is a bizantine discussion! Everybody knows that God speaks
in (insert here your language)!"

If you were born, let's say, in Italy, it is very unlikely that you conceive any word 
coming from God spoken in English or Rumanian, for instance... and the
same applies if you happen to speak Chinese or Tagalo as your mother
language.

Of course, those that speak Hebrew or Greek won't hesitate too much in
pointing out that those languages are the actual ones in which the Bible was
originally written.

Maybe up to this moment you've never stopped and considered whether you have
-or not- a misconception regarding God's language.

Another possibility is that the Supreme Being actually speaks and understand
each and every language or dialect, past, present and future.

So, give it a thought, and while you are at it, please keep in mind the 
following:

	"I have come to teach you to communicate with Me
	from spirit to Spirit. I want you to understand that, 
	in order for his own language to emerge from your 
	spirit, a language unknown today by humans, but 
	that God and the spirits know and understand well, 
	it is necessary for you to abandon all material 
	worship of offerings.

	"The communication of spirit to Spirit will bring
	together all beings and all the worlds, but it is 
	necessary that you be prepared to understand 
	one another, and toward that end, I am giving you 
	only one language, only one light, and only one 
	form of communication: that of a true love.

	"Feel freed of your load so that you may be happy;
	penetrate into the sanctuary of My love and be 
	silent before the altar of the Universe so that your 
	spirit may converse with the Father in the highest 
	of all languages - that of love.

-The True Face of Jesus.

Just as it happens with God's language (everyone believing that God speaks 
their national set of words), the same happens when trying to imagine what did
Jesus look like.

You probably have had the opportunity to see all the diverse renderings made
by artists of different times and places of the image of Jesus...and probably
many have smiled condescently while seeing that a given artist painted the 
image of our Lord following his or her ethnic bias and background. So, we have
seen Jesuses with Japanese, African, European and Indian looks, among many others.

And of course, the powerful and hegemonic Western culture, aided by centuries
of masterpieces of art and at these days by the Hollywood ideal image of Jesus,
engraved into the minds of the multitudes a certain design and style which, 
they claim, "must" be as close as the Galilean Rabbi as you can get.

But, ooops!

Science, again, raises a metaphoric eyebrow and out of the blue, a new, 
different approach comes from anthropologist investigators as showed in cable 
programs both in the BBC and the Discovery Channel.

After all, Jesus was born a Jew and chances are that his face and body, did not
contradict His ethnic origin at all. In other words, he looked...well, like
a Jew. Not your regular Tab Hunter, God forbid!

Furthermore, biblic data seems to support the idea that He, physically,
didn't draw any particular attention to Him because of His looks.

It is very likely that He was, in many ways, an average, almost ordinary Jewish
man, not that different from His own disciples. And certainly, not a high-class
Jew but, instead, a lower class type of fellow. After all, He was raised in a
little village, forgotten by the powerful and wealthy. And as you may remember, He 
was a man that made His living with His own strong hands: He was a carpenter.

So, there must be another reason for His popularity among the masses, something
that granted Him all the attention and attracted towards Him seas of men
and women of all sorts, and that reason, chances are, was His charisma.

And it is around this point that emerges the most powerful image of Him, not
because of the actual physical, material one, no. But that of His divine and 
unique presence, the presence of the Son of God, the Son of Man.

So, come again; Are you that intrigued about the way He looked or of how many 
inches of hair covered His head, or the color of His skin? And what about
the shape of His nose and lips? Is all this that relevant?

The "veritas iconus", the true icon of His face, may never be available to us and after 
seeing and believing that God usually has all the bases covered, it may not come as a 
big surprise to us to reach the point in which it doesn't matter anymore, for certainly the 
other image, the one created with His example, His love, His wonderful deeds and His 
teachings, is as vivid and present today as it was almost 2000 years ago.

And that's the true face of Jesus that I really care about.

-Cloning: The Controversy.

As Daniel's words anticipated some 26 centuries ago, this is the time in which
knowledge was to grow to unhearded proportions.

And, good grief! Surely it did.

Humans fly in the skies, traveling from one part to the other of the world in a matter of hours 
-or minutes, if you are aboard the MIR space station-, you can see and hear people far far 
away as if they were standing right in front of you, we can heat the Arctic Circle and cool the 
Ecuator, change the course of rivers and lakes, and the list can go on and on.

And in recent months, another huge step towards the knowledge of the most 
pursued goal of all times, the beginning of life, has put many people to
medidate if we haven't gone too far this time.

Of course, I am speaking of the cloning of humans, the copy of our fellow men 
-or women-.

At this very moment, governments of the most advanced countries are regulating 
the application of this knowledge. Some of them, are banning the cloning of human cells for 
reproductive purposes, others, are allowing the human cloning for therapeutic purposes, and 
others, are not accepting at all the notion of human cloning.

But is it going to happen?

Yes. It will.

Why can I be so sure? Well, because our Father warned us about this, many many
years ago -before 1950-, when the mere idea of cloning was, to say the least, next to impossible.

In two teachings of the Book of The True Life (The Third Testament) -not translated to English as 
yet- our Lord delivered the following prophecies:

"And the creativity with which I endowed every man, shall get men of science to 
create beings to their likeliness. But they will be beings that, ouf of their intelligence and capacity 
to learn, will lack of the most important part which I inspired in you, and that is the spirit, since 
only God can endow the human being with the spirit".

"What is a man without a spirit? It is like those machines that you build, without a life of its own, 
without true intelligence and whitout higher aspirations."

I believe that you could agree that these two paragraphs are self-explanatory.

Beloved: 

In our next issue we will continue with the final part of our overview of the spiritual gift of 
communication, and also, we will discuss another controversial topic: Are these wonderful 
creatures, the animals, endowed with a spirit? Pet lovers at this very moment probably will 
challenge even the question, let alone the answer. But I hope that you will have enough patience 
to admit a different point of view.
