But have we thoroughly analyzed what this means? Have we deepen into it and do we have a clear idea of what He meant by saying this? In this little newsletter, I wish to invite you to join me, dear reader, in analyzing upon the meaning of these words, and over the transformation that it could give to our lives by knowing who we really are, how we were conceived and what we have become. I guess that all of us, at one moment or the other, have learned about that Isaiah's verse -very discussed at this moment by some Bible scholars- where it was announced that a virgin will give birth, giving this as an anticipation of the incarnation of the divine tenderness in Mary, as mother of Jesus. "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 In the following little reflexions, beyond that very well known verse, we will see some other signs in certain passages of the Old Testament, that referrs to Mary, the divine tenderness, though not by her name. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - Mary's Presence in the Old Testament Since the beginning of time, there were some signs and indications in the biblical scriptures, that within God dwells the eternal feminine essence which is tenderness and love; in other words, there are clear references to Mary, our Heavenly Mother. We have reached that time in which all mysteries were to be solved and certainly, the presence of Mary can be traced back to the very First Era. "Mary is the divine maternal essence that has always existed. She is the universal feminine essence that you can discover and contemplate in all the works of Creation..." "You must understand that Mary has always existed, inasmuch as Her essence, Her love, Her tenderness has always been in the Divinity." The Third Testament Let's begin by analyzing a few verses of the Bible with the purpose of finding in them that truth the some part of humanity cannot see or acknowledge. First, it is important to point out that the Book of Genesis, which supposedly Moses wrote -who himself was a strong believer of the only one God, Jehova or Yahve ("...Jehova is God Dt:4:35:), initiates with a surprising statement: "In the beginning God (Elohiym in the original Hebrew text) created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God (Elohiym) moved upon the face of the waters." Genesis 1:1,2 Why is this surprising? Because Elohiym, the original Hebrew word used in the text... means gods or divinities, in plural form! If we translate it in a close relationship with the original text, the versicle will then read as follows: "In the beginning the divinities created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of the divinities moved upon the face of the waters." Do this mean that there are many gods? Not a chance, if we keep on reading and analyzing: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth6 upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Gn:1:26,27 We have talked in other ocassions of how profound this short part of Genesis is. A meticulous analysis of it will make us see, to begin with, the use of the third person in plural when referring to God, in concordance with the first verse mentioned before. Thus, "shall we" "to our image" "to our likeness" are expressions that, corresponding to the sense of that first verse, even at this day baffle the theologians of the different religions, whom by not getting to comprehend the reason for this apparent contradiction that may imply polytheism, throw to the table explanations that just don't cut it. Of course, there will be those that will say that the use of the plural regarding God is because of the majestatic figure of speech, used by kings and emperors. But then, it this were the case, where does the "created them" at the end of verse 27 comes from? Here, surely the text IS NOT referring to God but rather to the creature... or creatures. This is, in no way, a majestatic use of the language. Besides, in the rest of the Bible, the prophets and the inspired writers, including Moses and Joshua, did not use this majestatic treatment when speaking of God. It is because of this apparent contradiction, that they decided to unify, in the different translations, the word "Elohiym" (divinities) that appears all over the first chapter of Genesis as well as in the three first verses of the third chapter, using for it the word with the word YHVW (Jehova or Yahve): The one that is starting from verse 4 of that same chapter 2, would be used there forth in the original Hebrew text. The Bible version that we have used in this little paper is the one known as King James Version or KJV, in which, after several revisions through the date of its first publication, its editors decided to use the word "God", singular form, instead of Eloyhim, the plural form and "Lord God" in place of the original term YHWV... in other modern translations, the words "Lord", "Jehova" or "Yahve" have been used indistinctly... a matter of different criteria. But still remains as an indisputable fact that the original text mentions that the Creation was made by the divinities, in plural... How should we interpret this? It can hardly be atributted to Moses pantheism in any form, that is to say, it is wrong to state that he believed in the existence of many gods; being the envoy of the First Era, he knew perfectly well that there is only one true God, though as we have seen, Moses knew also that within God, there were, at least, two essential natures. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - God: Father and Mother. And which would these essential natures be? The masculine and the feminine, of course. Today, this is easy for us to understand, since we enjoy the privilege of having the revelation from the Holy Spirit pertaining those things which still remains as a mystery to the theologians and scholars of the big religions. If the human being, the man, was created to the image and the likeness of the divinities, and the human being or man consists of male and female, then it is only logical and simple to deduce that they are, respectively, the image and likeness of the eternal masculine that lives within God as the Father, represented by the male or "man", and the eternal feminine that lives within God as the Mother, Mary, represented by the female or woman. In which other way could then be understood that Creation reflects the nature of those two divinities, which belong to a one and only God? And furthermore: Our spiritual evolution allows us now to understand, that that image and likeness to God is in the spirit. "Man (the human being that is), in his spiritual side, has been made in the image and likeness of his God, since he is endowed with the same faculties as the Holy Spirit." The Third Testament The Lord explains to us, in this Third Era, that since our very beginning, the Mother was present, that infinite tenderness of God: Mary. We must point out that one of the meanings of the name Mary or Myriam in Hebrew, is "Lady". "You were born from the paternal and maternal mind of God, pure, simple and cleansed..." "I loved you even before you existed; I caressed you within Me, and on being born, I made you feel My divine tenderness." "I have already told you: Mary is the maternal essence that exists in the divinity and is manifested on everything created." The Third Testament ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - The Eternal Feminine in God When the Lord speaks to us in His teachings about man, most of the times he is referring not just to the male human being, but rather to all of us as humanity, the human being as a gender, and it should be understood that included in the same word are the male and the female, man and woman. "Man is the human gender in its integrity, feminine and masculine, and Jesus, on given birth by Mary, was truly born of man, since in the femininity of the Holy Mother, there is also man." The Third Testament (The explanations of the spiritual world of light) In the biblical text of the Book of Genesis that we reviewed before, this is crystal clear, as you probably will agree. For we know also that in Him, in God, many potencies, many powers and multiple facets manifest. And among those potencies, those facets, there exist as essential natures, the eternal masculine and the eternal feminine that live within God, which constitute an integral part of the Supreme Being, which are the Father and the Mother, both eternal, perfect and immutable. "I distinguish no one; everyone is equal before Me. I have placed the same grace on everybody, the same life and the same heritage. All are formed in My image and similarity." "But on Earth you are different from one another; see how your own matter does not find another exactly like it on Earth; everyone has a different name and manifest different gifts in the struggle for existence, some in one way, and others in another..." The Third Testament ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - A Sexist God? Due to poor interpretations of the biblical text, many theologians in the past eras attributed to God what they believed were masculine characteristics, such as the creative power, the justice which they called wrath, the command, without realizing that those attributes pertain only to the Father, who is the eternal masculine that lives within God. Far were they from understanding that in God dwells, as well, the eternal feminine and that in God always have resided other unwithering attributes like the tenderness, the caring, the comprehension, the intercession, the comforting which is the maternal essence. But the attributes of one nature, do not exclude or cancel all of the other facets or natures, but rather complement them for they all are components of that Everything which God is. Thus we see that ever since the First Era, the almighty Jehova of all justice manifested also the tenderness, the consolation and the protection, just like a mother will. "As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem." Isaiah 66:13 The attributes of a loving mother, compassionate and always mindful of their children, are reflections of the divine image of God, they are in the likeness of that infinite tenderness that lives within God. "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee." Isaiah 49:15 And to think that so many still regard God as a dreadful judge, in front of whom one should only feel fear! What an enormous unjustice against one Being who is all love, all tenderness, all caring toward us! Both natures, the masculine and the feminine, constitute the Divine Being, both of them are God; it is then when we understand that by creating man, God formed them in such a way that they correspond to both components of the divine essence, and thus male and female, together, form man, the human being, in his integrity, in his entirety. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - Marriage; The Integrity of the Spirit Pertaining the Human. If we comprehend this well, we then will see the importance of marriage, we will accept as something logic and natural the reason for the Lord to institute marriage since the beginning of humankind; it is only through marriage, when both natures unite in one flesh and one will, it is only then when we can see the spirit in his whole integrity. "The Father creates His children in total equality, making their spirit in the image and the likeness of Mine; every spirit, in the moment of sprouting from the Father is endowed with the same heritage, the same mandates and one only divine Law rules everyone. I putted within you gifts, virtues, potencies and powers without any distinction, and the free will was among those gifts." "Understand that all of this happened in spirit, when did not existed yet a material world, which the Father ended by forming in view of your lack of complying with the divine laws, in order for you to use it as a walking staff and as a reference point." "But it was in the undue use of that free will when your differences began to show, and those differences were created by you yourselves, not by the Father." "Your confusion was in such degree, that having the spirits created ways of life separated from the pathway of perfectionment that the Father gave you, it became necessary to create as well, a material Universe to be, all at the same time, haven and step, fleeting dwelling and school." "And it became necessary too, to create matters of male and female before those differences that your free will created, separating you from your original nature with which you had sprouted from Me, a nature where all of your attributes and faculties fitted along. But your disobedience alienated you from that nature, and you created your own, divided in itself and which is the one that, finally, once in the flesh, ended up by dividing you in male and female." "But stiil being thus, when the spirit incarnated in the first human beings, the Father did not put any of those natures above the other in which you have separated; in other words, once incarnated, I gave the male inasmuch as the female the same duties, the same responsibilities, the same missions without stablishing any difference between the masculine and feminine parts in which you had divided yourselves". "I knew that, as time passed by, you were to accuse me of privileging one nature over the other, but scrutinize the scriptures of the First Era and you will see how, in the beginning of your existence in this planet, the Father made man and woman equal. And by reviewing that lesson within the parable of the causes of your expulsion of the symbolic earthly paradise, you will come to understand that one of those natures, that of the woman, yielded to temptation, allowing thus the access of evil into this world." "And very grave have been the consequences of that simple act, consequences that still overwhelm you up to this day". "Only united can male and female, man and woman, bring back to its original form that complete, integral man, which your disobedience splitted by half." Among us, followers of the revelations of the Holy Spirit, should not exist such things as machismo or feminism; what we should all have within us and practice is a spiritual humanism, free of prejudices and misconcepts regarding of that what we truly are: Children of a loving God, in whom those two natures live, and to whom, according to our own gender and human life, we are the image and the likeness.
