Whatever it is called this kind of celebration, in all places the purpose is to bring to remembrance those who have parted from this world, those who got a head start in the path, those who have left their matter to return to the spiritual valley. Upon reflecting on this, I realize that this celebration, for many, is strongly linked to the idea that those who have given us their good bye, still live in another place, in another plane, in another realm, and we conserve the hope that we will see them again when the time comes, or we perceive their presence close to us, or we even see them come to us in our dreams, which intuitively tells us that death, in reality, does not exist. It is then when I ask myself: Why is it that if we feel that way, if we think that those which have left are not really dead, we dedicate a day of remembrance to them? Why not, instead of dedicating 24 hours a year under a ritual full of materialism and useless traditions, we remember them every day of our lives in thoughts and prayers of love for what they are, spirits that are alive and free, living beings which have broken ties with their matters? ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  - "Let the dead bury their dead" What did the Divine Master mean to say by this? What He wanted to say is that those who cry for what they believe to be their dead, at the same time are dead themselves. They have no hope, no faith and do not truly understand what it means to be an eternal being; because he who understands that in his innermost being there is a spirit made to the image and likeness of his Heavenly Father, believes in an eternal life and can't conceive death, not even in the matter, since he knows that upon terminating with its vital functions and returning to the earth from which it emerged, the only thing that such matter is doing is to comply with a natural chain from which it will sprout to give life once again. "People: Do you believe that it is necessary that I tell you that you have nothing to do in the cemeteries, and that the tears that you spill over the tombs are tears of ignorance, of materialism and of fanaticism? T175:29 "On this date, from the break of dawn, many spirits elevate themselves in prayer for those whom they call their dead. I say to you that it is alright that you remember them; that you harbor for them a thought of gratitude, of love, of admiration. "However, what is not good, is that you weep for them, as if they were objects of value that you have lost; nor should you think of them as dead, because during those moments when your eyes are shedding tears for them and your chest heaves with sighs for those who depart, if you could contemplate them, you would be amazed before the light that illuminates them, and the life which animates them. Then, you would exclaim: "Truly, they are the ones who live and we are the dead ones!" T. 196:20 It is ignorance what truly leads us to fear the moment of death, and what leads man to long for those which have left, thinking that their good-bye has been definite. If man would live in harmony with his spiritual part, working for the development of a healthy matter and spirit, if he would live with his feet on the ground and his eyes placed up high, living the time that the Father concedes him, complying with the mission that corresponds him as an incarnated spirit, the time would come to leave this earth without remorse of an unfinished task, or without fear for lost time, and upon facing the parting of a beloved being, would only see it as "see you soon", and as a liberation of a spirit which returns to its home. It is time that we speak to our children with the truth, that we teach them to live with love and justice, illuminated by the divine laws, that they understand that the material life is the preparation that the spirit requires to enter into the true life. It is time that we teach them to see the moment that our Father has decided for us to leave our matter, not as the end or moment of encountering an enemy, but as the beginning of countless opportunities for the spirit. When we teach our children to live in harmony between their matter and their spirit, they will learn to give to each part the importance that it merits; in that way, it will not be the matter which imposes upon the spirit, nor the spirit which forgets the responsibility it has towards its matter. If we teach them as such, they will not have a reason to fear death. "How different is the form in which your spirit presents himself before the threshold of the spiritual life, to that when it ends up leaving its body and the world. "Since it has lacked a true preparation in returning to its mansion, then it feels disturbed. The sensations of the flesh still dominate him, and hr does not know what to do, or where to go. That is due to the fact he did not learn that it is also necessary to know how to close his eyes to this world at the last instant, for only that way, will he be able to open them in the spiritual world he had left, where all its past awaited him to unite him to his new experience, and add the new merits to all his previous merits". T. 257:20 ________________________________________________________ 互户互户互猾せカせЙせカせЙせカせЙせカせЙ  - The arrival of the spirit to earth If we analyze the teaching enclosed in the previous theme, we can understand the importance for the incarnated spirit to be truly prepared for when the moment arrives to abandon his matter, making more natural the detachment from it without ties as well as the free return to the spiritual valley where he belongs. But, now I would like to ask you: Have you detained for a moment to meditate what it means for a spirit to incarnate in a matter, to leave the valley of harmony and infinite love, to come to this one which we sadly know it as the Vale of Tears? We weep for those who leave, and to the contrary, when we hear about the coming of a being to earth, we rejoice without being aware that at the same time that the arrival of that baby signifies the blessing and happiness of a family, a new being in whom to place our hopes and illusions, for that spirit, in addition to a new opportunity to restitute, learn and evolve, it signifies the temporary resignation to his liberty, the exile, the arrival to a world where the law of the strongest prevails, a place ruled by limits, time and space; where he will have to face a constant struggle of thoughts and ideas, where passions palpitate and hatreds collide, where minds vibrate disturbed by materialism, and where many human beings navigate in darkness and desolation. This is the reason for which the spirit, prior to seeing the light in this world, needs to have a preparation period to adapt. Our Father has explained in various teachings that the spirit takes possession of his matter within the maternal womb when his most important functions have been completed; in this manner the spirit has the opportunity to perceive the environment which surrounds him, and assuming the control of his sensitive faculties, begins to live in the matter, months before birth. "It is necessary for you to know that the spirit, before incarnating, has had a vast preparation, since he is to remain subjected to a long and sometimes arduous test. However, thanks to that preparation, he is not disturbed on penetrating into this life. He closes his eyes to the past, in order to open them to a new existence, and in that manner, from the first instant, he adapts himself to the world to which he has arrived". T. 257:20 That time which the spirit awaits before seeing the light of the world, serves him to reflect, to meditate aided by the voice of the conscience that in that period manifests himself in plenitude within the spirit and remains alive in it during the first years of his stay on earth. For this reason the Divine Master said that if we were not like children, we could not enter the kingdom of heaven, because when the spirit is incarnated in a new being during the first years of his life, it shares the candidness of his matter, and is always near to the voice of his conscience, but as time goes by, the spirit forgets about his true essence and stops listening clearly that internal voice that always dictates the path of goodness. "In spite of how many debts and stains that a spirit may have, when he lives in childhood, his matter shares its purity and innocence with him. In those instants, it is when the spirit needs all kinds of help in order not to deviate from the path." T 118:2 It is good that man rejoices when God concedes him the incarnation of a new spirit that enlarges his family, because in that moment, upon converting ourselves in material parents we can understand somewhat the happiness which signified to our Heavenly Father having created each one of His children, and we feel closer to Him; but, along with rejoicing and celebrating, it is necessary to think about the respect that we owe to that being which has just incarnated, that we remember what it means for a spirit to leave the spiritual valley, our Father's bosom. It is important to meditate in the aid that the incarnated spirit requires not to deviate from the path; while the example we give is clear and elevated through our acts, words, thoughts and deeds from his first years, his development will be easier and his future will be illuminated by faith and spirituality. "The spirit, while living in the infancy of his flesh, needs the help of the elders because the flesh is too weak to support him. He requires tenderness, so that his heart does not become hardened, and he also needs examples and teachings to develop and strengthen him until the time comes to manifest himself". T. 118:5 "Disciples: Let My Doctrine infiltrate in the children of today . All who have understood My word, must prepare their little ones with elevated ideas and apart all evil from their hearts. Sow in them the seeds of good that is spirituality, and as such, when these children have the sufficient capacity to understand the strength of My Doctrine, they will not hesitate in their path, to the contrary, their step will be firm and nobody will be able to deceive them". "I told you in that era that you should not fear death, because it does not exist, in My creation everything lives, grows and perfects itself. Corporal death is only the end of a period which the spirit goes through, to return to his original state and continue after his road of evolution. Believe, have faith and you shall live forever." O hades, where is your victory?" 1 Corinthians 15:55 Your Brother in the Lord The Little Worker All quotes -except the biblic ones- are taken from The Third Testament. *** PAST ISSUES AT http://144000.net/newsletter/ ***
