Sometimes that remembrance is so clear in our memory, that we can recall smells, sounds and even at times, we can predict what will happen next. We have heard many people that have gone through this experience say that, after the experience, they have felt close to death, or have had the intuition that this has something to do with the supernatural, and have felt fear. In reality there is nothing strange or mysterious; the truth is that these type of phenomenon should be natural to human beings, but since man has managed to lose to a large degree his self perception, with that amnesia has come the forgetfulness of his essence, of his true inner self of that spirit that has been created to the image and likeness of God, which possesses countless faculties, that amongst other things, give it time to travel through time when it is not tied by its matter. This happens generally when our matter rests; during sleep, in a state of relaxation and unconsciousness in which it does not have a control of its human passions, allowing the spirit to rise towards spiritual spaces and travel through time recording in its memory remembrances of the places that it was at. That is why people that have experienced the famous "deja vu" have felt fear towards death and the supernatural, because being that these remembrances come from the spirit, the matter registers them as something unknown and unexplainable. In order to understand this phenomenon, we need to start by comprehending what is time, so that in such a manner we are able to realize how natural it is for our spirit to travel through it. ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - What is Time? Time, same as Justice and the Law, is a perfect creature that sprouted from God's bosom to guide the spirit in its path of evolution and perfectionment. It is a creature that obeys divine will, this means that time does not have free will as our spirit; however, in the same manner as the spirit, it has had the faculty to reproduce itself giving us manifestations of its divine nature. These perfect emanations that have sprouted from time are: space and eternity. In order for the spirit to understand and feel the events that will lead it to conquer its place, its longing for his Father's abode and its desire to evolve, our Father upon creating the material world, has also created a series of instruments that could serve as a guide and reference for the spirit through a limited and perishable matter, That is why night and day were created, up and down, north and south, hours and days; distance and space. In the same manner there were created parables and metaphors that our Father utilizes to help us understand the spiritual world through material symbols. In this manner the incarnated spiritual is able to comprehend the messages and prophecies, because God in His infinite love attends both natures which inhabit within us, that is to say, God is of the spiritual, as He is of the material as well, and through the use of time divided in epochs, eras, centuries, our Lord aids us to understand the meaning of the messages that reach us through dreams, visions, and prophecies and of the travels that our spirit makes when it accomplishes to elevate itself over and above materialism. In elevation the spirit does mot require of distance, space or a place, because for the spirit time does not exist. For the spirit, things are measured by an order, which emanates directly from God, giving sense and proportion to all happenings. "The sighted, justly called prophet, through his elevation penetrates into eternity where the past, the present and the future are fused in one time; and it is in eternity where God is in all times and in all things, reveals to the sighted the future that are unknown to men and discovers to him what is to happen for which there is no premonition for the rest". The Guardians T. 18:18 "...The spirit is not subject to time. It is time that is subject to eternity, to the spirit". T.145:36 When man understands what time is before the spirit's eternity, he shall also understand the moment of fulfillment of many prophecies that have been revealed. Then he shall know that the seven days of creation are really seven great periods, that one week can symbolize seven years, that 1,000 years can be a day, or one day 1,000 years; or that "A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me..." (John 16:16), can translate into 20 centuries. Man shall know that the judgment day of the Lord is not conformed of 24 hours, and that the third era symbolizes eternity. "But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day". 2 Peter 3:8 "This is the great day and it is not composed of twenty four hours, because the day of judgment you do not know how long it will be prolonged; you do not know when it will terminate, but you are truly in the culmination of times, and you are living under the judgment of the Lord". T. 366:16 When man understands that his spirit is the owner of time, when he learns that the limits between him and eternity are the ones that he imposes upon himself as well as it does his lack of elevation and materialism, he will then understand that even being incarnated he can teach his matter to be docile and companion of the spirit, in order to allow him to accomplish the elevation that will allow him to reach the regions where time does not exist. Why must we hold down the spirit to human life if it has an infinite space beyond sight and the mind? Why imprison thought within the terrestrial orb, when it has a world of light beyond what is material? "The past, the present, and the future are with you; they encompass everything. It is the eternity that I grant you, in which you live, and of which I want you to be the owners, so that you will not only possess material time, nor for you to be owners only of this world ". T. 366:30 Whom that understands all this, can fear time? Time does not change, it is always the same one; the ones who modify themselves are ourselves, the incarnated spirits that one day are children and another are elderly; that today we say yes and tomorrow no, that we die and are reborn in a new wrapping, until our spirit no longer needs to evolve. In the same manner that we understand that for the elevated spirit there are no barriers of time and space, it is important for us to understand that for the incarnated spirit there is a spiritual and material order to make us conscious of the necessity to speed the pace in the path of evolution. We must understand that when our Father tells us: "Those and you are the same", He is speaking about the time that our spirit has lived incarnated in the three eras, without having yet accomplished the spiritual evolution that will allow it to follow its path of evolution without the need of its matter. For the incarnated spirit this is the third era, the last one. Does this mean that there will be no more opportunities? That those who have not reached the understanding of the divine lessons up to now cannot recover lost time? No, it means that this Third Era can be translated as "time for time". If the divine will has dictated that there will not be a new Era, it is because it is not necessary, because all of the teachings that man need to find the path of return to the Father's home have been delivered. Now it has to be man who must get close to them, study, analyze, understand, live and teach them. "Herewith the third Era has arrived, the consummation of all times, in which they shall be united through this doctrine, this perfect work, the law and the teachings of the first, second and third eras to fully illuminate the earth". The Guardians T. 44:60 ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - The secret to ask and learning how to ask How many times during the course of his life does man elevates his sight towards the sky to ask God to concede whatever he needs or desires; some ask for material things, others for lost health; some ask for sources of work, others for the daily bread and for countless other things. When some accomplish the purpose of their petitions, they feel satisfied thinking that God loves them because He has listened to their prayers, but when man does not receive what he asked for, he becomes confused and loses faith thinking that God has not listened, or that his requests were not sufficiently important to have been taken into account by God. Then he puts a barrier between God and himself, and doubts surge about the love of our Celestial Father and about His justice. "You ask if there is nothing that I can do for you? ¡ Oh, my little ones! Before you even ask Me, I have deposited in your hands what you need, but occupied in the struggle and walking without the light of faith, you do not know how to feel My presence or see what I leave in your spirit" T. 100:48 When man becomes desperate thinking in this manner, he is forgetting about various points which are very important: God does not need for us to ask him in order to know our needs, He knows everything about us, and knows exactly what we lack, but He is God as well as Father, and enjoys the communication of His children with Him. However, we must understand that precisely because we are dealing with divine wisdom, it is God who knows which of the things that we ask for are necessary or convenient for us, and which are not. "There are many of my children that attribute their suffering to the unfairness of destiny and believe to have been forgotten by their Father; then I ask you: What purpose has My word served? By chance do you believe that the Lord, the author of life is impotent to remedy your ills, or cannot please you in something material which in nothing helps you in your spiritual elevation?" I only concede to you that which is for your own good. ¡How many petitions do you make that if they were conceded, would only cause you damage or misfortunes!" T. 9:51, 52 "Ask, that it shall be given to you", said the divine Master in the Second Era, and based on that phrase human beings ask a countless number of things. How many times have we heard of people who, in exchange for what they believe to need, try to make deals with God, offering to do this in return for that, and that is how we hear promises such as these: -If You concede what I ask You, I will stop smoking- or -If you cure my son, I will stop drinking-. God does not need promises in exchange for something that we ask for, because this equals to tempt God and it is written that we should not do this. He is always aware of our needs and He gives us because of the simple fact that such is the nature of our celestial Father, to always be aware of the necessities of His children. "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For every one who asks receives; and he who seeks finds, and to him that knocks it will be opened. "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those Who ask Him!" Matthew 7:7-11 What we have lacked to receive our Father's blessings is humbleness, knowledge, to know that when God does not concede something to us, it is because that which we are asking for is not what our spirit requires to advance, and that which comes to us, even if it is not what we expected, is what will help us to grow, to restitute and evolve. That is why our Father has had to return in this Era to explain to us that it is not only a matter of asking, but of learning how to ask. "Remember the lesson in which I told you: "Ask, ask that it shall be given to you". Now I come to tell you: "Learn how to ask". T. 36:13 But, how can we understand what learning to ask signifies? It is not so difficult, if we understand the difference between what we need and what we ask for. Truly the only thing that we need is to lose that egocentrism that leads us to worry only about ourselves, and our loved ones. By being selfish we are forgetting about one of the promises that the Divine Teacher has made to us in the Second Era, when He said that while we occupy ourselves of His things, He would occupy Himself of our things. "If I tell you now that you must now learn how to ask, it is because previously your petition was incomplete and selfish, you only remembered to ask for yourself or your loved ones. "My teaching today tells you that you must learn to feel the pains of others; learn to live and feel the sufferings of your fellow man, the misfortune that afflict your brethren; you should learn to understand he who carries a hidden wound, and feel the sufferings of those that because of being distant you are not able to contemplate. Amongst these you must consider those that inhabit other places and nations, those that live in other worlds or in the hereafter. "Do not fear if some day you forget about yourselves and only remember others, because you will have lost nothing. Know that he who prays for others, is doing it for himself". T 36:14 If we put into practice this form of petition which is the intercession, there will be nothing that God will not concede to us. But it will also be necessary that we should learn how to receive, because things do not always arrive in the manner which we expect them to, and often, we can let things that our Father puts in our path pass by without realizing that what we let pass by was precisely what we needed. And how can we know that we really learned to receive what our Father sends us? The day that we can elevate a prayer to ask that His will be done upon us. In that manner we will learn to receive all of which touches our lives, knowing that whether it is bitter or sweet, behind it there is a great lesson of divine love. "Then God said unto him: Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life; nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies; but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice; Behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked; both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days". 1 Kings 3:11-14 ____________________________________________________________ «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥« ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Last Word Dearly Beloved: I would like to end our newsletter by inviting you to reflect upon the opportunities that life gives us daily to ask on behalf of our brethren and to accomplish the mission that each of us has in this world. Remember that time is of essence and that there may always be new opportunities, but those that we let pass by will never return. "Your stay on earth is short; recognizing it as such. You ask me for additional time and tell me: "Lord, give me time to accomplish. I only tell you that the sun does not rise or set one instant before or after, what is marked by the Creator. All is bound by an infallible law. Therefore, you shall not live on earth one more second than that marked in you destiny. That is why My word is sounding for you like a clock of eternity, that advices you to take advantage of time".
